Motion Block

Description

The Current Percentage blocks indicates the active value of current for the motor at the present moment. The value returned is in the range of 0 to 100%. If Variable Current Mode is not active then Current Percentage should indicate the Run Current Percentage while moving and the Reduction Current Percentage when motion has stopped and the reduction delay has occurred. If Variable Current Mode and tracking is active, the Current Percentage will vary depending on load and motor activity.

Escapes

The Current Percentage blocks does not produce any escapes.

Examples

In this example the current percentage is being monitored to display a message in a text display to show whether the current has increased near the maximum or reduced through current cutback to a lower level.
