Description
Set Encoder Line Count informs the closed loop system of the encoder resolution for proper closed loop control.
The value provided is the pre-quadrature value. This is sometimes called the number of slits in the encoder or the
number of lines. It is generally the value indicated in the encoder data sheet or part number.
The effective encoder resolution, post-quadrature, is 4 times the value of this pre-quadrature command parameter.
Escapes
The Set Encoder Line Count command does not generate any escapes.
