Sample Counter
Motion Block
Description
The Sample Counter block increments each controller sample period and provides a measurement of discrete time in the controller.
Escapes
The Sample Counter block does not produce any escapes.

This block list measures the duration of a sensor active signal.
Note that the difference in samples is divided by the sample rate resulting in an elapsed time measurement of seconds. Prefabricated Stop Watch components are available in the Software Packages directory accessible from File | Open Resources.
