Description

This register holds a known word value to confirm that the word registers are aligned with the addressing convention of the master. The master should read from this register the value 12345 decimal. If this is not the value read then try reading at address 13Fh or 141h. If these alternate addresses produce the proper 12345 value then the indicated offset will have to be used for all references to the Modbus Register Map.

Escapes

Reading the Word Alignment Check Constant does not generate any escapes.
