Description

The 6ABS Option provides support for six BiSS encoders. The encoders are organized into 3 groups of two encoders each. The two encoders in a group share a common RS422 differential driver clock signal, +5V, and GND pins. Each encoder has its own RS422 differential receiver. The remaining pin provides a Preset output that can be applied to all of the axes. The 25 pin DSub connector is presented on the left side of the controller above the USB connector. Refer to the Option_6ABS software package to access 6ABS features.
