Description

The Current Percentage commands indicates the active value of current for the motor at the present moment. The value returned is in the range of 0 to 100%. If Variable Current Mode is not active then Current Percentage should indicate the Run Current Percentage while moving and the Reduction Current Percentage when motion has stopped and the reduction delay has occurred. If Variable Current Mode and tracking is active, the Current Percentage will vary depending on load and motor activity.

Escapes

The Current Percentage commands does not produce any escapes.

Examples

In this example the motor is commanded to jog at a continuous speed. While jogging the current percentage is checked and seen to be 100%. The motor is then commanded to stop. Several current percentage checks indicate the current remaining at 100% because of a long current reduction delay setting. After the delay the reported current is 25% corresponding to the reduction current setting.
